Sunset at #PeeheeMuhuh / Thacker Pass

During our second evening at Peehee Mu’huh we met Joshua, Joseph and “Young Warrior”. We took time to create some portraits as the sun was setting behind the mountains and later had a conversation as to how they connected to this land and it’s current issues.
Today we introduce you to :

Joseph Good Spirit, 29 years old
Member of Walker River Paiute Tribe, Schurz, NV
“Heard about (camp) through ceremony.
I was spiritually guided up here.
Brought medicine and lots of prayers for what they are standing for
and what lays ahead with the government...
...I felt blessed with the people at Peehee Mu’huh and was honored to be walking on the sacred land. Definitely going to return with more prayers and people to help protect the land.”

For those looking to spend time at the camp Joseph says, “Go there with love & prayers. Spread the love & prayers. Leave loved and pray for everyone else.”
