March 27th, 2021

Henderson, NV

Wanted by the People : Ryan Fryman

MTAH made an unannounced visit to Fryman’s neighborhood in Henderson for the 2nd time Saturday evening.

The goal was simple.
Spread awareness of his past & his actions associated with the death of Jorge Gomez.

People within the community were not happy to see MTAH taping/handing out flyers, chalking the sidewalks nearby and in front of Fryman’s home. Two neighbors in a large truck drove around - at unsafe speeds - ripping down flyers that had been posted. Their interaction with the group was negative as he was visibly and verbally upset. Another neighbor confronted the group saying, “HE IS MY FRIEND!” when viewing the groups actions regarding Fryman. She proceeded to walk over and attempt to erase the chalk with her feet and told the group to leave her neighborhood. Henderson Police had already arrived on the scene and spoke to the distraught woman as she paced up and down the street. The 4 police SUV’s stood nearby but did not talk to the group. One officer left his vehicle briefly when the group walked away and documented the chalk and flyers with his cellphone. The group was followed around the neighborhood as they continued to tape flyers.

The group made their exit after passing out many flyers and taping them around the neighborhood. Both the flyers and chalk on the sidewalk were cleaned up prior to the group completely leaving the neighborhood.
